Treating Underperformance
Most men at some point in their lives will have erection problems. Studies show that around 8% of men 20-29 have experienced erectile issues, and that percentage increases to 11% for men 30-39. Typically, it presents as being unable to achieve an erection on demand, either with partner sex or masturbation. It may be a temporary situation due to
- stress
- too much alcohol
- using recreational drugs
- being totally exhausted
- taking certain medications
- smoking, cigarettes or marijuana
- performance anxiety
- relationship problems
- poor health, lack of exercise and bad eating habits
However in some cases the cause may be a warning sign of other serious medical issues.
